Yes you have one! Right from the factory, and the good news is that its resolution is fairly high. But remember Grade 12 science class... accurracy, resolution and precision?
Well there is a difference, while the resolution from the factory Wibeband 02 is greatly improved when logging with a laptop that has ATR installed vs the AP, there accurracy and precision (repeatability) can leave something to be desired.
The good news is with proper cooldown, its very close. Even more good news is that if you have an aftermarket WB02, with ATR 2.0 the LC-1 works as planned and logs correctly!
So three points to remember.
1) Your factory wideband is significantly higher resolution when logging with an ATR equipped laptop... (Eg AFR on the AP: 12.94, 13.08,13.23 vs AFR reported my ATR: 12.97, 12.99, 13.03, 13.05 etc).
2) Let it cooldown between runs, or it will read richer then you really are.
3) Tune with a cool stock WB02 for 12.94-13.08 from 0-6500 RPM, and 12.78-12.64 from 6500+ RPM on the stock WB02.
Note the time difference between the runs... in seconds... a 2 minute cooldown is recommended. Happy Tuning!

ATR 2.0? Have you tried
ATR 2.0?
Have you tried adjusting the amperage on the stock wideband to calibrate it for tuning the top end?
No I havn't... but I know
No I havn't... but I know what your saying. I don't want to chance the stock WB02 lying to the ECU about the acutal AFR in cruising conditions. Its used quite literally... 99.999% cruising and .001% for tuning WOT.... as I already have the LC-1 wideband 02 there as no need to play around with it.
I believe... thats just the heater circuit if I am correct. So the issue is it overheating from hot exhaust gases. So since its the edxhaust gases overheating it and not the heating circuit turning down the amperage for the heater circuit would affect it very little... for the WOT portion anyways, IMHO.
I would just tune with the AFR reading 0.2-0.5 richer then actual in mind depending on the run #.
On an aside... I just got 12.91-13.05 AFR from 6k to 8.2k repeatably with the new logging capaility. I have never had it so bang on. Thats like 50-70 measurments all with that range.
