From the makers of the GO-Power KSi cams, comes the answer to your exhaustion woes: 3" of stainless-steeled, mandrel bent, tig-welded, and tastefully-embossed GO-Power exhaust power. This is the next addition to your build. Making at least 4whp/5lbs tq, usually more, throughout the rev range on an N/A KSi Civic Si.
About the Exhaust:
I talked to Jeff about some of his design goals with this exhaust. As with all 3" exhausts you're looking for power of course, but what about drone, header fitment, clearance, etc.
- Drone - the muffler and resonator are a custom size and design just for this exhaust. Care was taken to minimize sound in the low RPM's while still giving a pleasing sound at WOT. Jeff drives a lot of miles on the California highways, he wanted an exhaust for his car that wasn't annoying on long trips. He tried a few different resonators combined with this muffler until he was able to completely eliminate drone at cruising speeds. He said he refused to sell something that he won't run on his own car. I think that's a great mantra personally.
- Header fitment - Jeff used a special 3" flange design with slotted holes that allow it to mate up properly to any 3" downpipe from a turbo or any normal header for our car. As long as your header/downpipe mates up where the stock exhaust does, it should mount up easily to hisexhaust without modification. That's a big plus in comparison to some of the competing 3" exhausts that are coming out.
- Clearance - The exhaust was test fitted on both coupe and sedan models with and without lowering springs. There are no issues with clearing the wide Skunk2 style coilovers. Also instead of making an adapter piece for Coupe vs. Sedan, Jeff opted to actually made 2 completely different versions of what he calls the "A" pipe. So they actually fit the different chassis' perfectly without any funky adapters that add restrictions/leaking points.
What's included:
The complete cat-back exhaust specific to your body style (Coupe/Sedan). All bolts and gaskets for the connecting pipes, and a new gasket for the connection to the header/downpipe.

How does it sound?
One of our members, Teegs, already has this exhaust installed on his KSi cammed 2006 Coupe. To read more about his experience, go to this thread on 8thcivic.com: http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/exhaust-discussion/188377-go-power-3-exha...

Finally a true 3" with awesome driving and sound characteristics! Can't wait to install mine tomorrow. Happy Holidays yo!

Wow, sounds and looks great and the price is unbeatable.
Why do these things always come out after I pay $700 for a different prodct.
Great job again Jeff/Go-Pwr!
Fitment to header?
So is this exhaust setup so it can fit to a header with a 2.5" collector/flange? I have the Vibrant w/HFC.
Jeff specifically told me
Jeff specifically told me that this is designed so it will work with any header on the Si.
Yep it will fit, I have the
Yep it will fit, I have the SSReplica (2.5" collector) the exhaust bolted right up. This is one of the best fitting exhausts I've ever installed. The fitment is better than stock (yes I said it, because it its!) and it complements my other power-adders very nicely. The attention to detail in this unit is superb. From the hand welded finish, to the strong flanges and overal pipe bends, to the beveled (yes, beveled!) exhaust tip. This is one of the sexiest and functional exhausts that I've seen, not only for our car, but for any car. GO-Power did their homework when developing this exhaust. The clearance is fantastic (I have the HFP suspension) and the sound is on par with my old vibrant (2.5") exhaust with 18" resonator (I have better clearance with this exhaust than my vibrant). Overall, form and function meet in this exhaust and (I believe) it is by far the best exhaust that has been developed for our platform thus far. Once I go back to the dyno to finish up my new tune we will see what this bad boy is able to accomplish.
This Exhaust
This Exhaust is the shiat. When I go WOT with windows down, It brings a smile to my face.
Got it
Got mine installed along with the Kidd Racing header on Saturday.
The exhaust is beautiful and has a unique tone to it that separates it from all the other exhausts.
Just finished tuning my car
Just finished tuning my car with this exhaust, together with other supporting mods, RBC Ported, TSX bored, and RDX injectors I picked 15WHP everywhere on the rev range and 15-30lbs/WTQ!!! This exhaust is awesome!
