VitViper Throttle Table comparison

mucter's picture

This is a visual comparison of the throttle maps commonly used by the community. Vit has taken the time to smooth out the lines on his map to make the engagement less jumpy, more predictable. It's a little more agressive after 3500, while keeping the cruise range smooth.

less jumpy, more predictable -- sounds good!  i'll try this out the next time i get a few days off, so i can get a good feel for it.

to clarify, the CTR hybrid throttle map is the one used in 1.02 and up Cobb tunes, yes?

blouisgod -- see the two topics below this one.  One is for the stock throttle body, the other is only to be used if you've swapped in the throttle body from an Acura TSX.

Tried this out extensively

Tried this out extensively yesterday -- feels great!  Sensitivity is down a bit, which is nice.  Tried some haphazard downshifting just to play with it, and "more predictable" is about as best I can put it.  A subtle change, but definitely nice.  Try it out! ("but don't take my word for it...")

I editted the posted values

I editted the posted values to make them easier to copy and paste into both ATR/FPM. I also added another table for the TSX TB.

Test

I'll test it out today :)
